Our
purpose reflects the traditional spectrum of America's
great doctoral research universities: teaching,
research and service. UND remains one of the largest,
most heavily endowed, comprehensive universities
in the very large region made up of North Dakota,
Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, Idaho, and Minnesota.
Our success is based on a solid tradition spanning
more than 120 years. The University of North Dakota
will continue to be part of one of the world's
greatest social enterprises, that of creating
the future and at the same time educating those
who will keep that future unfolding. |
