School Age Program

This program specifically introduces children ages 5-12 to the UND campus. The children will also spend time with peers and teachers focusing and studying topics that are centered around themes such as Conservation/Nature, Kids in the Kitchen, Splish/Splash Water fun, The Great Outdoors, Science Discovery, Career Week and more.

Yoga Classes

2008-05-09 to 2008-08-01

Yoga classes will be held at the Lotus Meditation Center on Tues and Thurs evenings during the summer. Classes begin May 22nd and continue through July 19th with the exception of the week of July 4th.

Boys Basketball Shooting/Competition Camp

2008-08-03 to 2008-08-05

This basketball camp, for boys entering 5-12 grade, will work to make your son a better shooter! The camp will focus on the shooting fundamentals including shooting technique, footwork, moving without the basketball, and shooting on the pass or dribble. Games will also be played to incorporate the shooting skills.

cScibot Lego Robotic Intro Camp

2008-08-04 to 2008-08-08

The cScibot camp will place participants ages 10-14 in a fun and exciting setting where they will build and program LEGO Mindstroms robots. With help from faculty and students majoring in computer science, participants will learn to program their robot to accomplish a challenging series of activities. Lights, Camera, Masks

This week-long camp for participants age 6-10 is led by artist, Mike Hazard. Every participant will do camera work, sound recording and perform in this hands-on, learn-by-making video camp. General registration begins April 15. Space is limited.

Summer Strings - Chamber Music Day Camp

This music camp is for grades 5-8 and are interested in chamber music. This program has chamber ensemble coaching and will teach how to work cooperatively with other musicians at the same playing level. This 2-week camp will culminate in a public performance.

cScibot Lego Robotic Advanced Camp

NDView's K-12 Geospatial Tools for Geographic Education

This workshop is designed to show participants how best to utilize a variety of geospatial tools, e.g. basic map and compass and GPS, its modern successor, when teaching K-12 geography.

Summer Concert in the Garden Series -
Mary Marshall, Jazz pianist

Bring a chair or bring a blanket, and make sure you bring a friend and enjoy live music in the Museum's sculpture garden. Mary Marshall experiements with introducing a new performance practice for jazz, which utilizes conventional classical forms. 7 - 8:30 pm

Tickets are $5.00 for adults, kids 12 and under are free. Refreshments and burgers will be available.

Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor Initial Course

This program will train individuals to conduct inspections for lead-based paint and to assess lead hazards. Also covers issues such as lead contamination of soil and drinking water.

Welcome Weekend is for all new students in the fall. Students can meet their neighbors, enjoy excellent programming (for families and students) and participate in the fun social activities. Admitted students will get more information late in the summer.

Post-Traumatic Funk Syndrome is Fargo’s newest and hottest classic rock / horn band. Formed in 2007, this twelve-piece group (six horns, keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, male and female vocals) performs the best of classic horn band hits. 7 - 10 pm

Tickets are $5.00 for adults, kids 12 and under are free.
